There is strong evidence that she married twice. There is a marriage record for Miss Ollie Scott, age 18, to a John C. Talley, age 22, 4 November 1908, Independence County, Arkansas. In all actuality Ollie was only almost 15 years old (well not quite - really only 14 years 3 months old) at the time of the marriage. I think that when her father, James Wesley Scott found out about the marriage, he had it annulled, since she was underage.
